Stay tuned to this spot for the latest happenings at Captain Cow Multimedia.
- Looking back through 2006, a bright spot sorely missed here was time spent hangin
with a very old friend, Bob Harvey.
Suffice to say that last July, Bob and I did some
music in Silicon Valley and, along with Lisa Kelly, jumped out to Pacifica for some good ole-timey
Bruce Latimerizations. Bruce runs a weekly TV show
(for years now) and has a great crew on
audio and video. Heres the footage...
- Went out to the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival to mix sound for
Gary Cambra and his friends.
Gary always wows me with his ability to put on the really
BIG Show! So cool.
Monster Yamaha 2000 board and loads of mixin fun for me.
Not to mention all the goodlies to be had punkin around the punkin fest.
Oh man! They did it!
- Dead Air re-united for a day of historical meetings and musical fun.
- I got snowed out of heaven: Yosemite National Park, in September, but managed a nice healthy 20 miles crosscountry, forced march down from the clouds as a result. Here are pics from this year.

- Deep in a Redwood Forest is a stage. Before it lie the redwoods of La Honda.
On Saturday, September 20th the Women In The Redwoods Show is happening again.
In a place, not so far away, situated below Deer Park Ridge, Ray’s Peak, Langley Hill
and eight miles inland from the beach at San Gregorio,
are some of California's magnificent Coastal Redwoods, the world's tallest trees.
To honor these trees and also women's music, nine fab females will come there
to give us a taste of why we all love this very special music.
Of course, the finely tuned sound system will carry their story from creek bed to tree tops in incredible detail.
And what a Stage! Surrounded by huge California Coastal Redwood Trees, the Stage will feature the music
of that sturdy bulwark of societal sanity, wait for it now… WOMEN! ...And trees!
A party for all my musical friends and friends of friends. Spinning and twirling before lovely minstrels.
Check out a day of fine music and the finest vibes at Sullivan's in La Honda, September 20th noon to 7pm.
You will hear how sweet life can be below towering canopies of pine.
- The Strawberry Field Festival at Muzility Ranch near Monterey has happened a second time!!
It was quite a mellow release of creativity and joy. Feathered Edge recorded a set for streaming.
Captain Cow
and Hill
played a short set of standards which will stream right here before long.
The PA is huge out there and the good music was heard far and wide. A Locke, Stock and Darrell stream from our first festivideo can be seen
here.

Pescadero Barn Jam has been a satisfying event. We set up a massive PA out there weather permitting. After suckin' down the available comestibles we just play 'til we drop. With the big barn and big sound system it's beginning to sound like big fun! It may not be til spring, but you should join us back in the barn, for some smokin chicken rockin! Did I say chicken, Jojo is really a peacock. Chicken indeed!

To get to the barn, drive right thru Pescadero and about a mile and half up Pescadero Road. If it is happening, you will see a sign by the driveway, from there it will be obvious. The Sign reads "COW" with an arrow pointing the way, no sign, no gig. Hope to see you. Watch this space for future dates at the Barn.
